Road viaducts T5 on the Arachthos - Peristeri section of Egnatia motorway

Road viaducts carrying two independent branches of motorway with a total length of 240m each (34m + 4x43m + 34m = 240m), a width of 13,5m and 17m respectively, and a maximum pier height of 22,5m. Continuous superstructures of prestressed concrete box girder with sloping sides, rigidly connected to the piers. Pile foundations. Superstructures constructed with the span by span method on conventional formwork.

The final design was carried out in 2001, with a design budget of 6.490.000€, project owner EGNATIA ODOS S.A., construction by JV TERNA S.A. - ATHENA S.A., completed in 2004.
