It is about a new "Π" shaped building complex in Iroon Polytechneiou st. in Chania. Only the shell of a detached three-storey listed building is maintained, which is in the center of the building plot. The four-storey underground car park has 217 parking spaces.

Above ground storeys and the first underground storey structures consist of dual coupled frames-walls systems, which are connected to the diaphragms of the slabs. The slabs of the second to fourth underground levels are flat with enlarged column heads.

The new structural system of the listed building is a typical reinforced concrete structural system, linked to the existing brick walls which are not considered as structural elements anymore. The listed building is underpinned by mini-piles and pile-caps which are connected to the existing walls with dowels and among them with preloaded steel bars.

The designs were carried out in 2005, with a design budget of 10.000.000 €. Project owner Mr Emm. Tripodakis, construction by THEMELIODOMI S.A., completed in 2009.
